Job description

To strengthen our team, we are looking for the following person as soon as possible

(Junior) Continual Improvement Process Engineer Logistics (m/f/d)

at our Münchberg / Hof (approx. 75%) and Neuss (approx. 25%) sites


In this role you will work closely with the Site Manager (direct supervisor) and the Operational Manager Germany (indirect) to ensure further development of the sites. The basis of your work is formed by key figures, which you evaluate and use to control and identify optimisation potential. You manage the projects independently and thus ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Your tasks

  • Recording, analysing and presenting of workflows, volumes, resources and other key figures
  • Continuous analysis of material flows and area and personnel planning
  • Derive ad-hoc measures to stabilise the operative daily business
  • Development and implementation of strategic internal and smaller customer projects and innovative solutions
  • Conception and implementation of feasibility studies and risk assessment
  • Preparation of presentation documents
  • Collaboration in the implementation of new operational standards

Job requirements

  • Degree in logistics / technology / economics or comparable with a focus on logistics
  • at least 2 years of professional experience in the logistics industry, preferably in contract logistics
  • Initial experience in project management and/or lean management
  • Knowledge of business administration
  • Experience in process planning and optimisation (Lean, Six Sigma etc.)
  • Very good MS-Office user skills desired (affinity for IT applications)
  • Fluent German and very good written and spoken English skills
  • Structured way of working and analytical competence
  • Team orientation, flexibility and initiativ
