Operations Manager Tech & Repair Services (m/f/d)

We, Servicecare Support Services Ltd, a subsidiary of Clipper Logistics plc, are an expanding provider of B2B repair services. In our new business unit in Robakowo near Poznan, we specialize in the repair of TV sets and their various components.

We are currently looking for a dedicated and technically savvy Operations Manager Tech & Repair Services to build up our new team in Robakowo (starting 01 August or later).

As Operations Manager Tech & Repair Services (m/f/d) you will lead a team of logistics staff, product testers, technicians and engineers, initially in a 1-shift system. Together, the team is responsible for receiving incoming equipment, testing with subsequent fault diagnosis and replacing defective components or repairing them if necessary.

You will have experience of managing larger teams and a good understanding of technical products. You don't have to be able to repair a TV yourself, but you should have a good understanding of the process from delivery to fault diagnosis to final acceptance. You will be supported by experienced senior engineers.

Your tasks

  • Management of our new business "tech & repair services smart TV".
  • Managing subordinate staff and planning further development
  • Personnel planning in compliance with SLA guidelines
  • KPI control and initiation of countermeasures if necessary
  • Reporting on the feasibility of targets
  • Checking budget feasibility and costs
  • Continuous process improvement
  • Communicating with customer

Job requirements

  • Higher technical education
  • Min. 3 years of professional experience in service process management, ECM or manufacturing
  • Experience in leading and controlling larger teams
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and willingness to take on other tasks within the team on occasion
  • Independent, self-reliant and reliable working style
  • Motivation and enjoyment of work
